Meeting Called to Order at 7:40PM with Pledge of Allegiance.
Announcements
The General Meeting will be held directly after this meeting. There is an ordinance hearing tomorrow night at 7PM and a zoning hearing for a variance request on Monday, March 9, 2009 at 7PM.
New Business
- '08 Audit - Mr. Eric Davis of Ginader, Jones & Company was present to discuss the audit of the 2008 books with the Board of Supervisors. Miller to contact the wife of
the past audits for any records that she may still have that represent Newton Township for comparison.
- Mark Boettcher -Mr. Boettcher came before the Board to discuss an issue on Summit Lake Road with regards to junk vehicles and garbage located on the properties around his. He brought pictures to show the Board and stated that he asked the owners to remove the items and they have not. He is trying to sell the property and cannot due to the messy conditions. Haan will site the owners and give them until April 30, 2009 to remove the junk. If the order is not followed, Chief Reese will site and take to court to get the places cleaned.
