Meeting Called to Order

8:10 PM after ordinance 2-2006 hearing and budget meeting.

New Business

  • Police Camera - Chief Reese submitted three quotes for a digital camera to be used with the new police reporting program. The lowest quote received came from Circuit City at $263.99. Other quotes came from Best Buy at 269.99 and Staples at 269.98. Motion by Koldjeski to purchase the camera from Circuit City for $263.99, 2nd by Martenson. Motion voted, all in favor.
  • Police Reporting Updates - Chief Reese spoke with the supervisors in regards to purchasing three updates for the police reporting system at $50 each. Board approved.
  • SAPA / COG - Jamison approached the Board of Supervisors with a resolution for the Supervisors to sign in regards to supporting the fire training grounds. Motion by Martenson to sign the resolution, 2nd by Pardue. Motion voted, all in favor. Jamison also spoke of the planners touring Newton Township on Sunday morning at 9:15PM. An informal reception will be held on Saturday night to meet and greet the planners.
  • Cherry Ridge Speed Limit Signs - Miller to check with Chief Reese about putting speed limit signs in the development.
  • Hidden Valley Road - Sileo asked Miller to check with the Supervisors what the status of the road dedication was with Ned Slocum. The Supervisors stated that the plans still need (1) change section on plans to what the actual cross sections is. (2) meets and bounds have to reflect as the conditions exist on site. (3) need highway permit from PADOT.
Purchase orders were signed.

Bills were signed and discussed.
