Meeting Called to Order

7:00 PM with Pledge of Allegiance.

The reason for this special meeting was to discuss Ordinance 2006-1, An Ordinance amending the existing Township ordinance designating Stop intersections by adding additional stop signs at various intersections of the roadways within the subdivision known as Cherry Ridge located in Newton Township to the list of designated Stop intersections. A copy of the Ordinance is available for inspection, upon request, at the Newton Township Municipal Building during regular business hours.

After some discussion, motion by Koldjeski to accept the Ordinance #2006-1 as prepared, 2nd by Martenson. Motion voted, all in favor.

This ordinance was duly advertised in the Abington Journal.

Motion by Koldjeski to adjourn these hearings, 2nd by Martenson. Motion voted, all in favor.

Meeting adjourned 7:10PM.
