Township Meeting Highlights
The following meeting minutes are now available online for anyone who was unable
to attend these meetings. We have our
prior meetings archived on the
site.
Please be advised that Newton Township residents will be receiving two forms
instead of one form for reporting of their local wage taxes. When filling
out each form, only put .05% of your gross wages. Anyone with questions
may contact the Tax Collector for assistance. Also, anyone receiving a
form that does not have gross wages to report, please sign the form and return
to our office with your reason for not filing so that we remove you from the
list.
Newton Township's DPW have completed the dust control on dirt roads within the
Township.
Meetings
Newton Township Planning Commission will hold
their meeting on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 7:30PM.
Newton Township Board of Supervisors will hold
their Work Session on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 7:30PM.
Newton Township Board of Supervisors will hold
their General Meeting on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 7:30PM.
Scranton-Abingtons Planning Association
SAPA meetings are the 4th Tuesday of every month.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Abington Rotary will hold their annual 4th of July Fireworks
Display at the Abington Heights Middle School on Thursday, July 3, 2008 with a
rain date of Saturday, July 5, 2008.
